There are 10 zero-dong stalls with 10 items including candy, cooking oil, salt, instant noodles, sugar, fruit, clothes... with a total value of 100 million VND. When coming to the market, 200 disadvantaged households in Xy commune can buy 10 items at 10 stalls, the total value of 10 items is 500 thousand VND/household.
In addition, households were also given 400 pairs of banh chung and more than 200 free meals.
Major Nguyen Van Chinh - Political Commissar of Thanh Border Post - said that in the area, there are many ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances. As Tet is approaching, officers and soldiers in the unit have connected with volunteer units to give gifts to the people. The items at the zero-dong booth partly help encourage households in difficult circumstances.
