On January 27, records in the Phuoc Kien intersection area (Thu Dau Mot ward), traffic on Pham Ngoc Thach street is being reorganized to construct a tunnel through National Highway 13.
Relevant units are barricading Pham Ngoc Thach street, in the direction from My Phuoc Tan Van street to National Highway 13. The barrier section is about 200 m long, from Binh Duong General Hospital to National Highway 13.
Units organize barriers to 3 car lanes of Pham Ngoc Thach street to take space to organize underpass construction. Currently, the 200 m section of Pham Ngoc Thach street, adjacent to National Highway 13, can only circulate 1 car lane and 1 rudimentary car lane.
According to records, narrowing the Pham Ngoc Thach lane near Tet makes traffic in this area even more pressured. The flow of cars moving through here is very large, causing the Phuoc Kien intersection area to be congested during peak hours.

In addition, to serve the construction of Phuoc Kien underpass, functional agencies have installed a traffic sign system and organized traffic diversion through bypass roads.
Accordingly, vehicles traveling on National Highway 13 in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to the Central Highlands when reaching Phu Loi street will turn right, move to My Phuoc - Tan Van street and then turn left into Tran Ngoc Len street to return to National Highway 13. The opposite route will also be implemented similarly to avoid the construction area at Phuoc Kien intersection.
