On December 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction sent a document to relevant units, requesting urgent lane division of previous routes in the Binh Duong area.
The Department of Construction proposed that Becamex Group and Infrastructure Investment - VRG Company Limited adjust the lane division on DT 741, DT 743 (from Mieu Ong Cu intersection to Doc Lap intersection), Doc Lap street, DT 746 road (from Tan Khanh bridge to Muoi Muon - Tan Thanh intersection) and DT 747 B road (from Mieu Ong Cu intersection to DT 747 A intersection.
The above routes will adjust lane 1 (sidewalk closure) for motorbikes, 2-wheeled vehicles and 3-wheeled vehicles; lane 2 for cars, passenger cars with less than 25 seats, buses, trucks under 3.5 tons for traffic; lane 3 (diversion closure) for cars to circulate.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction also requested Becamex Group and other units to re-lane the routes (with at least 3 lanes in each direction) in the new city of Binh Duong (Binh Duong ward), industrial parks, industrial clusters, urban areas. Divide the lane in the direction of heavy trucks traveling near the median strip.
At the same time, organize the adjustment of the paint line to separate the lane in straight lines to create a gap between the motorbike and car lanes to facilitate traffic. At intersections, additional lane separation between motorbikes and cars is installed for a section of about 30-50m. Research on adding left turn signals to 2-wheeled vehicles at intersections.

According to records, recently, there have been many traffic accidents between motorbikes and container trucks in the Binh Duong area. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has requested to adjust the traffic lane division on My Phuoc Tan Van Street and National Highway 13. These two roads are divided into lanes in the direction of heavy trucks traveling close to the median strip. As a result, up to now, traffic safety and order have been recorded to be changing positively.
