On June 27, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee Vu Dai Thang chaired a Conference to disseminate and thoroughly grasp the resolutions of the City People's Council and decisions of the City People's Committee to implement the Capital Law in 2026.
According to Mr. Vu Dai Thang, immediately after the 2026 Capital Law was passed by the National Assembly, the city clearly defined the motto "both perfecting institutions and preparing conditions for implementation".
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested departments, agencies, branches, People's Committees of communes, wards and agencies and units to focus on implementing a number of key tasks, including unifying awareness, unifying understanding and unifying actions throughout the political system. At the same time, focusing maximally on organizational implementation, quickly bringing new mechanisms and policies into life.

Leaders of Hanoi City People's Committee also directed to establish a coordination mechanism, guide and promptly remove difficulties in the process of organization and implementation; strengthen inspection, supervision, urging and evaluating the actual results of implementation.
In addition, proactively ensure full conditions on people, resources and infrastructure to bring the mechanisms and policies of the Capital Law into life.
I request departments, agencies, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards to proactively review and fully allocate human resources, financial resources, facilities, digital infrastructure, data and other necessary conditions; and at the same time pay attention to training and fostering the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and public employees, especially those who directly advise and implement new mechanisms and policies," Mr. Vu Dai Thang emphasized.
Chairman of Hanoi City People's Committee said that difficulties, obstacles and new issues from practice will arise during the implementation process.
Therefore, the City People's Committee requests all levels, sectors, and localities to uphold the spirit of responsibility, proactively coordinate, listen to and promptly remove difficulties. Regularly dialogue with experts, scientists, the business community and people to continue to improve management mechanisms, improve management quality and better serve the development requirements of the Capital.
