Accordingly, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Hanoi People's Committee proposed that agencies, units, hospitals, schools and people in the city hang the national flag from August 18, 2025 to September 3, 2025.
The People's Committees of wards and communes are responsible for directing, inspecting and reminding the placement of national flags in residential areas; Heads of agencies and units direct and inspect the placement of national flags in units under their management to ensure compliance with regulations.
In addition to hanging the flag, the Hanoi People's Committee also issued Official Letter No. 4622 on the implementation of the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 134/CD-TTg on promoting waste collection, environmental protection and hygiene nationwide towards the 80th Anniversary of National Day on September 2.
The Hanoi People's Committee requests the city's departments, branches, People's Committees of communes, wards and related units to carry out tasks related to maintaining urban order and ensuring environmental sanitation in the city.
Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over inspection and urge units to implement, ensuring that the instructions of the Prime Minister, the City People's Committee, and the Chairman of the City People's Committee in the above Official Dispatches and Plans are implemented synchronously, promptly, fully, seriously, and effectively.
