According to the traffic organization plan, the scope of adjustment is concentrated in the Aeon Mall Long Bien supermarket gate area, which is being affected by barriers serving the construction of closed and open tunnel items.
From 5 am to 11 pm daily, cars are only allowed to circulate in one direction from the gate of Aeon Mall Long Bien supermarket to Dam Quang Trung street.
For cars moving on Dam Quang Trung street that need to enter the supermarket, the vehicle is instructed to go straight through the gate area, then turn right into Nguyen Ngoc Chan street to access the entrances from Nguyen Ngoc Chan street or Co Linh street.
Hanoi Department of Construction also organizes traffic diversion directions to reduce pressure on Dam Quang Trung street.
Accordingly, vehicles from Co Linh to National Highway 5 are guided according to the route Co Linh - Nguyen Ngoc Chan - Dam Quang Trung.
For vehicles that need to turn around towards Vinh Tuy bridge, functional forces recommend moving in the direction of Co Linh - Co Linh overpass - turning around at the median strip opening point on Co Linh street - turning right to Vinh Tuy bridge.
To ensure traffic, the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned to coordinate the installation of traffic signs, paint markings and organize remote traffic diversion.
In the first 7 days of implementation, the traffic organization plan will be monitored and evaluated in reality to promptly adjust if inadequacies arise.
Hanoi City Police will arrange traffic police forces to coordinate with Long Bien Ward Police to strengthen regulation and guide vehicles in the area.
Functional agencies requested Aeon Mall Long Bien supermarket to proactively organize internal traffic and arrange parking lots in accordance with construction progress, avoiding affecting traffic in the area.
People when traveling through the Co Linh - Dam Quang Trung intersection need to pay attention to observation, comply with the sign system and instructions of functional forces to ensure safety and limit congestion.
The pilot traffic organization time starts from August 1, 2026 and lasts until a new notice is issued.
