The project to build a road connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 21A (Provincial Road 416) passing through Phuc Tho commune is a level II traffic project, belonging to group B project according to Decision No. 6110/QD-UBND dated November 26, 2024 of Hanoi City People's Committee.
The project is nearly 3.8km long, the starting point of the project intersects with National Highway 32 at Km38+570, belonging to Tho Loc commune before; the ending point at Km3+790.77 connecting to National Highway 21A in the Cau Coi area, Trung Son Tram ward, Son Tay town before.
The project is invested synchronously and modernly with a cross-section of 21m; standard level III plain road; design speed of 80km/h; asphalt concrete pavement structure; designed axle load of 10 tons; bridge and culvert system and works on the route are designed according to HL93 standards.
When completed, Provincial Road 416 will become an important traffic axis connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 21A, and also linking with Ta Tich dyke, Provincial Road 418 and the inter-commune and inter-village traffic network in the area.
The route not only shortens travel time between Phuc Tho and Son Tay and Hoa Lac high-tech park, but also creates favorable conditions for trade, goods transportation, and expands the socio-economic development space of the locality.
With a spirit of drastic action right from the first day of 2026, the Party Committee and government of Phuc Tho commune have focused on leading and directing the implementation of many solutions to accelerate the progress of infrastructure projects in the area. In which, site clearance for the Provincial Road 416 project is identified as a key task.
To effectively implement this task, the Commune People's Committee actively innovates implementation methods, strengthens propaganda and mobilization, and at the same time organizes direct dialogues between commune leaders and people; many problems have been discussed and answered directly at the conference, helping people better understand the meaning and benefits of the project as well as the compensation and support policies of the State, thereby expressing high consensus and agreement with the project implementation policy.
Mr. Kieu Trong Sy - Chairman of Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee emphasized: The project of the road connecting National Highway 32 with National Highway 21A (Provincial Road 416) is an important traffic project, of great significance for the development of the locality in the coming time.
Mr. Sy requested departments, agencies, branches, socio-political organizations of the commune to continue to promote propaganda and mobilization, closely coordinate with specialized units to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
At the same time, he wished that households would continue to promote the spirit of consensus and coordination with the government in the process of inventorying and handing over the site; strive to complete site clearance work in March 2026 so that the project can be implemented soon to ensure construction progress.
