Hanoi will adjust the traffic organization of Tran Phu and Phung Hung streets from September 6 to serve the construction of the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment System Project's manhole.

The Hanoi Department of Construction has just issued a notice to adjust traffic organization on Tran Phu and Phung Hung routes (Ha Dong ward), to serve the construction of the manhole item under package No. 4 of the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment System Project.

According to the plan, from September 6, 2025 to July 31, 2026, some sections of the road will be fenced off for construction, causing the road surface to narrow.

Therefore, the authorities will divert traffic, open more temporary lanes and adjust traffic lights to ensure smooth traffic.

Accordingly, Phung Hung Street: The section from Tran Phu - Phung Hung intersection to Cau Den intersection - 19.5 Street will narrow the road surface, arranging an additional temporary counter-traffic lane for vehicles to move through the construction area.

Tran Phu - Thanh Binh - Phung Hung intersection: Barriers are constructed along the traffic island, arranging a right turn lane from Thanh Binh to Quang Trung; moving the signal pole and adding a paint line to separate the flow.

Tran Phu - Nguyen Khuyen - Vu Trong Khanh intersection: Temporarily suspend the traffic light system, reorganize the direction for vehicles through the median strip opening points.

The manholes on Tran Phu Street from well 42.13 to 42.20 The remaining road surface is divided into 2 narrow lanes, with corrugated iron fences and B40 nets to ensure visibility.

The Hanoi Department of Construction requires investors and contractors to coordinate with the police force and the government of Ha Dong ward to notify in advance to people and schools and agencies in the area.

Safety measures such as signs, traffic lights, people on duty to regulate traffic 24/24, fire prevention and fighting plans, and rescue must all be deployed synchronously.

In addition, the Traffic Operation Center will adjust the light cycle at important bottoms to avoid congestion. Bus companies have also been notified to change their routes accordingly.

During the construction process, any completed items will be restored to their original state and the road surface will be cleared to organize traffic back to normal. Investors and construction contractors are fully responsible for any unsafe conditions or prolonged congestion.
