On June 20, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced the organization of traffic on the elevated Ring Road 3, from Nguyen Trai to Thang Long Avenue to serve the repair of expansion joints and bridge surfaces (phase 4), specifically as follows:
directions of vehicles from Nguyen Trai to Thang Long Avenue:
- Daytime from 6am - 10pm, the barrier of 1/2 of the elevated Ring Road 3 at the expansion joints needs to be repaired, vehicles move on the remaining 1/2 of the road at the construction sites.
- Night from 10pm - 6am the next morning: All vehicles are prohibited from traveling on the elevated Ring Road 3 from Nguyen Trai to Thang Long Avenue.
+ Instructive plan for traffic organization adjustment: Vehicles from the elevated Ring Road 3 from Phap Van to Mai Dich must change direction to Khuat Duy Tien Street at the exit to Nguyen Xien - Nguyen Trai intersection (downstream Ring Road 3 below) → move through Khuat Duy Tien Street → through Khuat Duy Tien - Tran Duy Hung intersection → onto the elevated Ring Road 3 at the entrance to Pham Hung Street (towards Tu Mo Street) to Mai Dich.

- At the locations for repairing expansion joints on the elevated Ring Road 3, vehicles are allowed to move into the emergency lane.
