On April 18, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced a pilot adjustment of traffic organization on Hoang Hoa Tham Street and Ngoc Ha Street (Ba Dinh District) to ensure traffic safety and reduce traffic congestion.
Accordingly, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (buses and armed forces vehicles are allowed to operate) will be banned from operating on Hoang Hoa Tham Street (in the direction and section from Mai Xuan Thuong to Ngoc Ha) and on Ngoc Ha Street (in the direction and section from Hoang Hoa Tham to Le Hong Phong).
Implement traffic diversion for passenger cars with 16 seats or more on Hoang Hoa Tham street (in the direction and section from Mai Xuan Thuong street to Ngoc Ha) and on Ngoc Ha street (in the direction and section from Hoang Hoa Tham street to Le Hong Phong), travel in the direction of Mai Xuan Thuong - Hoang Hoa Tham - Hung Vuong - Hoang Van Thu - Doc Lap - Chu Van An - Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha - Hoang Hoa Tham.
At the same time, organize traffic to prohibit cars with more than 16 seats from turning around at the Ngoc Ha - Le Hong Phong intersection.
The pilot implementation period starts from April 20 to October 20.
