Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 4833/UBND-TH dated August 27, 2025 on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg dated August 24, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the assurance of safety, security, order, environmental sanitation, and health during the National Day on September 2.
Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, based on the assigned fields, to direct departments, branches, People's Committees of wards, communes and related units to seriously, creatively and effectively implement the direction of the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country and Official Dispatch No. 139/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring security and order on National Day on September 2.
Organize regular on-duty, have leaders in charge of ensuring creative, effective and timely handling of situations, especially complex problems that arise.
Assign the Department of Agriculture - Environment, the Department of Construction, People's Committees of wards, communes and related units to ensure adequate cleaning and garbage collection, increase hygiene capacity; at the same time, promote awareness of environmental hygiene. Arrange accommodation, avoid rain/ sun for people; serve free bread, drinking water, umbrellas...
Assign the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Tourism, the People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate with relevant units to mobilize volunteer forces, especially young people, women, veterans, etc.
Encourage the socialization of activities to support the distribution of free food and drinks.
Arrange forces to support and guide people at locations of activities during the Festival.
Contributing to the gratitude of those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the prosperity and happiness of the People and the forces who are practicing day and night, participating in activities and protecting the great National Day.
Assign the City Police to preside over and advise the City People's Committee to report to the Prime Minister (through the Government Office) daily before 5:00 p.m. on the security and order situation.
