At the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) opened on the morning of August 28, Viettel Group demonstrated 50 civil and military technology products.
In which, many products belong to national strategic technology groups such as new-generation telecommunications networks, semiconductor chips, robots, cyber security and aerospace. One product that many visitors pay attention to is the patrol dog robot researched and developed by Viettel.
Information from Viettel said that VSR_01 is a smart security patrol robot, designed to replace or support security forces in industrial parks, residential areas, factories and critical infrastructure.
The robot is capable of operating continuously in all weather conditions, automatically moving, detecting incidents and giving timely warnings thanks to AI technology and modern sensors. This is a comprehensive monitoring solution, improving the effectiveness of security and safety.
Outstanding features of robot dogs are automatic guidance and movement. Automatically locate, avoid obstacles, patrol according to the schedule; automatically charge when the battery is weak. capable to overcome the terrain with a joint foot design, move flexibly on stairs, slopes, and slippery surfaces.

The robot dog is capable of smart monitoring using AI and high-resolution cameras, detecting unusual objects, and sending immediate warnings. Multi-dimensional interaction with direct communication with humans, supporting remote robot control.
This robot is also absolutely safe with multi-layer sensors, avoiding collisions, ensuring the robot operates safely with humans.
Viettel said that robot dogs are used in security monitoring, detecting intrusion and unusual behavior. Check fire safety, detect smoke, fire, heat sources, and monitor emergency exits.
Monitor equipment and facilities by reading parameters and checking daily status. At the same time, support security in all weather conditions.
