The Provincial Military Command shall preside over and coordinate with the Ha Tinh Maritime Port Authority, the Subcommittee for Safety at Sea, the People's Committees of coastal communes and wards to call for and guide ships and vehicles to safe shelters; at the same time, guide and support the implementation of necessary measures to ensure safety for ships at anchorages.
Leaders of communes and wards must closely follow the area to focus on directing and leading the response to storms and floods in the area, absolutely not allowing negligence to affect people's lives and property.
Assign officials to go to villages and hamlets to support and instruct people to brace their houses and harvest agricultural products that have reached the harvest season such as vegetables, fruit trees with bags, livestock and aquaculture facilities to implement measures to ensure safety and minimize damage.
Urgently organize forces to trim trees, reinforce the protection of headquarters, warehouses, production and business establishments, services, public works (especially educational and medical facilities), infrastructure works (especially attention to dykes, dams, high towers such as television, radio, telecommunications, power grids, advertising signs, etc.).
Immediately deploy safety measures at tourist areas and beaches in the area, absolutely do not let tourists and residents swim in the sea or stay in dangerous areas during storms, rain and floods.
Based on the storm and flood situation in the area, the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level decided to let students stay home from school to ensure safety.
