On the afternoon of August 6, news from the Office of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee said that Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has issued a document requesting urgent remediation of the risk of landslides on the positive taluy slope on Dong Trung road, belonging to Ky Anh commune.
Accordingly, Ky Anh Commune People's Committee is assigned to urgently survey, prepare, approve plans and deploy emergency handling of the positive taluy slope section from Km1+150 to Km1+400 to ensure traffic safety, prevent landslides, and avoid cutting off the road.
The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and relevant units to review and advise on allocating funds for implementation according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee requests that the handling must be timely, ensuring project safety, traffic safety, compliance with legal regulations and combining immediate solutions with long-term plans to ensure stability and sustainability for the project.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reflected on a large crack in the mountain on Dong Trung road with a high risk of landslides, potentially unsafe for traffic participants, especially this road connecting to the expressway intersection with a large traffic volume.
