On the afternoon of July 12, Mr. Nguyen Kien Quyet - Vice Chairman of Ky Anh Commune People's Committee said that after conducting inspection and assessment of the actual situation, Ky Anh commune is currently developing a plan to soon handle the long crack on Choi mountain in Dong Phu village.
This is a location with a high risk of landslides, potentially unsafe for vehicles when traveling on the Dong - Trung route.
According to Mr. Quyet, the volume of soil and rocks to be treated is very large, requiring large funding, and at the same time must ensure safety during the clearing process, so a detailed plan must be developed and submitted to competent authorities for approval before handling is carried out.

According to surveys, the landslide location is located in the Choi mountain area, with a length of 40m and a height of 6m. At this location, there are many large cracks, high risk of landslides, especially in cases of heavy rain, affecting people and vehicles participating in traffic.
It is expected that nearly 1,000 m3 of soil and rocks at this landslide-prone location will need to be cleared.
Also according to the Vice Chairman of Ky Anh Commune People's Committee, on July 10, after receiving people's feedback on the location of risk of landslides on Choi mountain, Ky Anh commune authorities conducted a field inspection and survey.
Immediately after that, the locality proceeded to place dangerous warning signs, and at the same time issued a notice requesting people to limit traffic through this road, especially at locations at risk of landslides.

While handling and clearing have not been deployed, according to the leader of Ky Anh commune, when it rains and there is a high risk of landslides, the locality will arrange forces to set up checkpoints to block the road, in order to ensure safety for people and vehicles.
