On June 1, information from the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province said that in the first 5 months of 2025, the total state budget revenue in the province is estimated at VND 8,066 billion, equal to 45% of the annual estimate and 97% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, domestic revenue reached about VND 5,200 billion; revenue from import-export activities reached VND 2,866 billion.
The disbursement of public investment capital is also a bright spot. As of May 28, Ha Tinh has allocated more than VND 4,868 billion in detail, reaching 107% of the Prime Minister's plan assigned and 97% of the provincial People's Council's plan assigned. The disbursement value reached more than VND 2,213 billion, equivalent to 48.6% of the Prime Minister's plan, belonging to the local group with a good disbursement rate of the country.
The industrial production index of the whole province is estimated to increase by 3.81% over the same period; total retail sales of goods reached nearly VND32,000 billion, up 12%. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage services and travel is estimated at about VND 3,645 billion, up 11%.
Since the beginning of the year, Ha Tinh has welcomed more than 2.8 million tourists, an increase of 18%. Localities such as Ky Anh town, Nghi Xuan, Cam Xuyen and Can Loc attract a large number of tourists.
The agricultural sector recorded an estimated spring rice yield of 61.72 quintals/ha, an output of more than 366,000 tons, an increase of more than 3,000 tons over the same period. The new rural construction program continues to be implemented synchronously.
Regarding investment attraction, the whole province has 800 newly established and returning to operation, an increase of 9%. The province has approved investment policies for 14 projects, including 2 FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly 13 million USD.
In the face of the above situation, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested all levels and sectors to continue to promote the work of arranging the apparatus to prepare for the two-level government model; focus on reviewing and completing socio-economic indicators; combating budget loss; disbursing public investment in the spirit of "6 clear".
The province strengthens State management, completely handles problems in backlog projects, controls epidemics, ensures social security, combates smuggling and trade fraud, and prepares well for the high school graduation exam and the summer-autumn crop.
