Martyr's remains found in a cave in Quang Tri

Quang Tri - The Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains of Economic - National Defense Team 337 discovered a martyr's remains in the area of Co Chuoi mountain cave entrance.

On the evening of March 11, the Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains (HCLS) of Economic - National Defense Team 337, Military Region 4 confirmed that the unit had just repatriated one martyr's remains.

Accordingly, on November 3, during the process of grasping information in the area, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team discovered and repatriated 1 martyr's remains in the cave entrance area of Co Chuoi mountain (Cu Bai village, Huong Lap commune, Quang Tri province).

The martyr's remains were discovered at a depth of about 0.8 - 1 m underground and wrapped in tarpaulins and parachute fabric.

At the location of discovery, functional forces seized many accompanying artifacts including: car headlights, boxed meat boxes, injection bottles, penicillin bottles, oil boxes, K54 bullet casings, AK bullets, heavy machine gun bullets, 3 bomb fragments and information wires.

Currently, the HCLS Collection Team of Economic - National Defense Team 337 is continuing to expand the search area around the area where martyrs' remains were discovered to verify more related information.

Immediately after the discovery, the unit organized to bring the martyrs' remains to the Khe Sanh spiritual cultural area, Quang Tri province for care, incense offering, preservation and information verification, completing procedures according to regulations.
