Preparations for the trial operation of the new government in 12 wards and communes after the merger of Hai Duong province have been completed, ready to serve people in receiving, handling administrative procedures and organizing sessions. This is an important test step before officially putting it into synchronous operation from July 1, 2025 according to the roadmap for administrative unit arrangement.
On the morning of June 16, Le Dai Hanh ward (Chi Linh city) organized a trial operation of the 2-level local government model. This is a unit merged from An Lac, Dong Lac and Tan Dan wards, with the administrative headquarters located in Tan Dan ward. In the morning, the ward held three simultaneous events including: organizing a Ward People's Council Session, the first session of the Ward People's Committee and receiving and handling administrative procedures at the Public Administration Service Center.
On the same afternoon, the remaining 11 wards and communes simultaneously organized a trial operation of the new government. The units include: Duong An, Nguyen Luong Bang, Tan An, Tan Ky, Gia Phuc, Thach Khoi, An Phu, Nhi Chieu, Ha Bac and Kim Thanh. All have completed the work of perfecting the organizational apparatus, preparing facilities, information technology systems and arranging appropriate work locations.
Notably, the pilot activities in Le Dai Hanh ward were connected online to 63 communes and wards across the province for cadres and civil servants of the units to monitor, study, agree on the implementation process, and draw practical experience.
Organizing trial operations is an important stepping stone to ensure that the new administrative units after the merger will operate smoothly and stably from July 1. Localities aim to not interrupt the handling of work, receiving recommendations and handling administrative procedures of people and businesses.
