At around 8:00 p.m. on June 22, a particularly serious traffic accident occurred at Cau Sen intersection, National Highway 38 in Cam Giang district (Hai Duong province), causing the death of two young men and severe damage to the truck.
According to initial information, two young men were driving a motorbike with a license plate from Dien Bien province while traveling on National Highway 38 when they collided head-on with a truck traveling in the opposite direction. The strong collision caused one person to die on the spot, the other person to be taken to the emergency room but did not survive on the way to the hospital.
At the scene, the motorbike was crushed and lay under the front of the truck. The front of the truck was also seriously deformed, the glass was broken, and many parts were severely damaged. Broken pieces from both vehicles were scattered all over the road, causing temporary traffic congestion in the area.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities arrived in time to protect the scene, direct traffic and investigate the cause. The identities of the two victims are being clarified by the authorities.
This is a warning about the level of danger when participating in traffic on highways with a lot of traffic, especially at night.
