Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Tan Ward and Dong Hoa Ward agreed to propose not to merge in the current period, thereby stabilizing the apparatus for development.

In Vinh Tan ward (HCMC), the Ward Party Committee organized the 7th Conference of the Party Committee Executive Committee (expanded) of the ward, term 2025 - 2030. The Conference assessed the results of implementing the 2-level local government model. After 1 year of operation, the political system of Vinh Tan ward has achieved comprehensive results, ensuring stable and smooth operation.

Vinh Tan ward currently has a natural area of 61.35 km2, a population of 79,492 people with 11 neighborhoods. Through review, the ward meets the prescribed standards on population size and natural area. Indicators on economic structure, proportion of non-agricultural labor and socio-economic development conditions basically meet the requirements.

The Party Committee of Vinh Tan ward organized a survey and took opinions from delegates attending on the plan to arrange administrative units. As a result, 100% of delegates attending the conference unanimously voted to approve the report and the plan to maintain the current administrative unit of Vinh Tan ward, without arranging or merging with the administrative unit.
