According to the report of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, component project 1 of Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway is 31.5km long, with a total investment of VND 5,333 billion, invested by the Provincial Agricultural and Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The total site clearance area of about 228.17 hectares has been 100% handed over to the investor for implementation.
To date, the value of construction output has reached VND2,037 billion (equivalent to 56.28% of construction contracts).
In particular, the first 20km section from National Highway 1 to National Highway 26 is included in the plan of 3,000km of expressway to be completed before the end of 2025, which is being increased in human and material resources to reach the finish line before December 19, 2025.
The remaining sections are constructed in 3 shifts, 4 teams, striving to complete the entire route by 2027.
Component project 2 (37.9km long, Ministry of Construction's managing agency) and Component project 3 (48.1km long, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee's managing agency) are also being accelerated by contractors, ensuring completion and putting into operation from the beginning of 2027.
Meanwhile, the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway project has a total investment of VND 11,808 billion managed by Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Construction). From April 19, the last 70.35km of the route has been put into operation.
Currently, there are still 13km of the first section of the route (from Co Ma - National Highway 1 intersection to Van Gia - National Highway 1 intersection), contractors are mobilizing maximum human resources, working overtime, striving to complete the main items before August 27 and are expected to hand over and put into operation before September 2.
On the morning of August 18, a working group of the National Assembly led by Mr. Vu Hong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly inspected the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project and the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project.
At the inspection, Mr. Vu Hong Thanh requested investors and construction units to continue to remove obstacles related to site clearance, conversion of forest land use purposes... to speed up progress in accordance with the direction of the Central Government.
In particular, the first 20km of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project must be completed by the end of this year under the direction of the Prime Minister.
