On August 4, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leadership of Ngoc Trao Commune People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province, said that an incident had just occurred in Eo Ban village, causing a couple of about 80 years old to die, suspected of being electrocuted.
Initial information, the incident happened at about 9 am on the same day. When the couple was cleaning the fish tank in the rockery area in front of the house, an electrical incident occurred.
Discovering the incident, relatives quickly took the two victims to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, both did not survive.
Representatives of Ngoc Trao Commune People's Committee added that immediately after the incident occurred, local authorities were present at the scene, coordinating with functional agencies to verify and clarify the cause.
