Can Giuoc River
The Cong Chanh Department of Transport has just announced the limitation of inland waterway traffic on the Can Giuoc River to serve the construction of Ong Thin Bridge under the National Highway 50 Construction and Expansion Project, Binh Chanh District.
The time limit for traffic is from now until June 30, 2025.
The area with limited traffic on the Can Giuoc River has a route of Km02+600 in Da Phuoc Commune, Qui Duc Commune, Binh Chanh District.
Xang An Ha Canal - Xang Ly Van Manh Canal
In order to ensure safe waterway traffic to serve events taking place before the opening ceremony, opening ceremony, closing ceremony and cultural events of the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival in Binh Chanh District, the Department of Transport of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has limited the circulation of inland waterways on the Xang An Ha - Xang Ly Van Manh canal.
During the limited traffic period from 5:00 a.m. on June 6 to 4:00 p.m. on May 8.
The area about 200m downstream of Xang An Ha canal is about 200m from Xang Duoc Bridge, prohibiting the flow and use of waterway vehicles (except for waterway vehicles serving the 2025 Vesak Festival) on Xang An Ha canal towards Xang bridge on Provincial Road 10.
At the Cho Dem - Ben Luc River crossing and Xang Ly Van Manh canal, arrange forces to use canoes to regulate the ban on waterway vehicles (except for watercraft serving the Vesak 2025) from Cho Dem - Ben Luc river to Xang Ly Van Manh canal.
Trau Trau Canal
The Department of Transport of Cong Chanh also limits waterway traffic on Trau Trau Canal (Thu Duc City) to serve the demolition of the old Tang Long Bridge and the temporary steel truss bridge for the construction of the new Tang Long Bridge.
The time limit for circulation is from now until May 16, 2025.
The Department of Transport noted that drivers of inland waterway vehicles when traveling to the above areas must strictly comply with the rules and instructions of inland waterway signals (on the shore, underwater), control control stations at the scene and instructions of the authorities; at the same time, comply with legal regulations related to inland waterway traffic safety.
