Many central streets of Ho Chi Minh City will restrict cars with 7 seats or more on March 25 to serve the organization of activities and ensure security.

On March 24, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic adjustments on some roads in the central area to serve the organization of activities of the City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and ensure security and order. Traffic routes adjusted include:

Le Thanh Ton Street (section from Dong Khoi to Pasteur): Restrict cars carrying people from 7 seats or more and all cargo trucks.

Nguyen Hue Street (both directions, section from Le Loi to Le Thanh Ton): Limit cars carrying people from 7 seats or more and cargo trucks.

Truong Dinh Street (section from Vo Thi Sau to Ly Chinh Thang): Restrict all vehicles from circulating.

Limited time from 5:00 AM on March 25, 2026 to the end of March 25, 2026 (can end earlier depending on the actual situation).

Alternative route

Direction from Ton Duc Thang to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia:

Route 1: Ton Duc Thang - Le Thanh Ton - Dong Khoi - Lam Son Square - Le Loi - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - continue to follow the desired route.

Route 2: Ton Duc Thang - Le Thanh Ton - Hai Ba Trung - Nguyen Du - Pasteur - continue on the desired route.

Direction from Dien Bien Phu center to Ly Chinh Thang:

Route 1: Dien Bien Phu - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Ly Chinh Thang - continue to follow the desired route.

Route 2: Dien Bien Phu - Truong Dinh - Vo Thi Sau - Nguyen Thong - Ly Chinh Thang - continue to follow the desired route.

The Traffic Police Department said that it will base on the actual situation to adjust and classify traffic accordingly, minimizing the impact on people's lives.

Traffic participants when passing through the area need to proactively choose alternative routes and comply with the instructions of the Traffic Police force.
