Cao Pagoda is located on Ma Lim Mountain, Ha Linh Commune (now Ha Linh Town), Ha Trung District, Thanh Hoa Province. This is an ancient pagoda dating back to the Le Dynasty. In 2020, the pagoda began to be rebuilt. To date, after 4 years, the pagoda has been basically completed with the highlight being 4 Bodhisattva statues facing 4 directions.

From the top of the mountain, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the peaceful space, the mountains and the houses along the slopes of Ma Lim Mountain. In particular, the pagoda is located next to the North-South highway, close to other spiritual tourist attractions, so it is very convenient for visitors when coming to Thanh Hoa.
Besides worshiping Buddha at the beginning of the new year, burning incense to pray for fortune, favorable weather, prosperous business, and happy family, Cao Pagoda also has many beautiful check-in spots that attract people to visit.

Going to the pagoda on the first days of the new year is a way to start the spring journey, to do good deeds and pray for peace. Therefore, not only Buddhists but also many ordinary people go to the pagoda. Therefore, the intersection at the foot of the expressway overpass - National Highway 217 is always congested.

Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong - a resident of Ha Linh Town shared: "Cao Pagoda has just been renovated and is gradually being completed, but it is very attractive to local people as well as tourists from all over the world. Going to the pagoda to worship Buddha at the beginning of the year is a beautiful cultural feature. Today, I came here to pray for a new year of peace and prosperity. Pray for all the peace for myself, good health for my whole family, and all the best."

Although still in the process of completion, with its unique architecture, Cao Pagoda still attracts special attention from visitors from near and far. This is the basis for this place to become an interesting spiritual and sightseeing destination of Thanh in the near future.
