On April 7, (March 10 of the lunar calendar), the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized the Hung Vuong Commemoration Ceremony 2025, with the theme "Remembering Hung Vuong's National Day", at the Hung Kings Memorial Area, National History - Culture Park (Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the gratitude of the Hung Vuong nation is to remember the roots of deep cultural symbols, affirming the sacred value of the history of building and defending the country for thousands of years of our nation.
With the teaching "Humans with cardboard, as a tree with roots, as a source of the river," Mr. Loc emphasized that, from the minds of the Vietnamese people, the gratitude of the Hung Kings - those who laid the foundation for the formation and development of the nation - always a sacred value. The Hung Kings is not only the first national building, but also becomes a deep cultural symbol and thought, affirming the history of thousands of years of building and defending the country of our nation.
Remembering the merit of the Hung Kings is an opportunity to arouse solidarity, passionate patriotism and determination to fight to protect independence, sovereignty and unifying the country. This is a valuable tradition, helping the Vietnamese people to overcome all difficulties, win enemies and promote strongly in all circumstances.
