Since the morning of August 31, tens of thousands of people from many localities have traveled to Truong Sa Street to line up to visit the exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).
The area in front of the only road leading to the exhibition, thousands of cars lined up for nearly 5km, causing this road to be congested.
Some people reported that many service vehicles carelessly stopped in the middle of the road to return to customers, causing traffic obstruction.
Early in the morning, Road Traffic Police Team No. 15 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police dispatched working groups and specialized vehicles to coordinate with other forces to carry out traffic diversion and regulation tasks.
Traffic police working groups also focused on reminding and strictly handling drivers who stop and park widely, causing traffic obstruction around the area leading to the tourist area.
According to the commander of Traffic Police Team No. 15, the exhibition will be open until September 5, so the traffic volume and vehicles are expected to increase. The authorities recommend that people should proactively arrange their time, choose public transport to limit traffic congestion and ensure safety when visiting the exhibition.
At the same time, people should not stop along the road or park in areas that are not in accordance with regulations. In addition, the access road to the exhibition does not have a separate lane for pedestrians, so when crossing the road, people should follow the instructions of the traffic police to ensure safety.
Currently, Hanoi has arranged additional bus routes to serve people and tourists participating in the Exhibition at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi City.
The operation period is from August 28, 2025 to September 5, 2025. All Transerco bus routes will open at 5:00 a.m., close at 10:15 p.m.; frequency from 40 - 65 minutes/trip (depending on the route).
Bus route numbers: 96TC, 31TC1, 31TC2, 23TC, 32TC1, 32TC2, 24TC, 02TC, 15TC, 93TC and 90TC.
All buses have an additional sign "Bus for the Vietnam Exhibition Center" placed in front for people and tourists to easily identify. The enhanced routes will pick up and drop off passengers at the end points and stops on the route.
