Quang Ninh - Adora shipping line, headquartered in Shanghai, is preparing to bring the largest ship to Ha Long and wants to find a suitable location to place ships in Vietnam.

The working delegation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung - Director of the Department - is on a tourism promotion trip to Beijing and Shanghai, China.

At a working session with Adora shipping line at its headquarters in Shanghai, Mr. Tran Nhien Phong - General Director of the shipping line - said that he had been to Quang Ninh and was particularly impressed with the scenery and cuisine here.

The shipping company hopes that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province will continue to accompany and ensure the best conditions for wharves and transfer vehicles so that tourists can have a full experience. Mr. Phong also hopes that the province will develop more tourism products imbued with local cultural identity, helping cruise tourists have more deep exploration activities during their stay here.

At the working session, Mr. Phong also informed that Adora will bring China's largest ship to Ha Long port with more than 5,000 tourists on August 19, 2026.

Adora representatives also expressed their desire to find suitable locations to book boats in Vietnam to attract tourists from other places departing for tourism from Quang Ninh. This is completely feasible because in recent years, Quang Ninh has created very good conditions for shipping lines from Beihai, Hainan, Guangzhou... to bring tourists to the locality. In particular, in recent years, Vietnam is currently leading in the number of international tourists to Shanghai. Therefore, Adora is seriously planning to exploit this potential tourist market.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung expects Ha Long to become a strategic transit point to take Vietnamese tourists to explore the world by sea. To do this methodically and sustainably, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province hopes that Adora will be a bridge for the province to link more closely with the governments of major localities such as Shanghai, Guangdong...

In 2026, Quang Ninh is expected to welcome more than 90 international cruise ships. Adora's commitments and specific plans right at this working session once again affirm the position and attractiveness of the Quang Ninh tourism brand on the international cruise tourism map.
