Quang Ninh welcomes the first Japanese cruise ship carrying 1,700 tourists

    Quang Ninh - On April 30, Quang Ninh province organized a reception for a group of international tourists on a Pacific World cruise ship managed by Peace Boat Company (Japan).

    The ship brought about 1,700 tourists, mainly from Japan.

    The Pacific World ship departs from Yokohama port (Japan), making trips through a number of countries and bringing guests to Quang Ninh for the first time by charter (on-trip charter).

    During their stay in Quang Ninh, visitors will participate in a tour of Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, Ha Long 1 Market, Vincom Plaza Ha Long, Nu Hoang cable car, Yen Duc countryside (Dong Trieu) and many other destinations.

    It is expected that in 2025, Ha Long International Passenger Port will welcome about 70 ships with nearly 90,000 international visitors, an increase of about 30% compared to 2024. In addition to familiar ships such as Celebrity Solstice, Mein Schiff 6, Westerdam, this year many new ships such as Brilliant Lady, Luminara and Pacific World will dock, contributing to promoting the development of sea tourism in Quang Ninh.
