On the morning of October 28, Quang Binh Railway Joint Stock Company said that train SE7 running from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City was stuck at Dong Hoi station because many sections of the railway line were flooded after heavy rain.
On the evening of October 27, two sections of railway were flooded, including the section passing through Le Thuy district (Quang Binh province) and Vinh Linh (Quang Tri), due to the impact of storm Tra Mi.
These locations were deeply flooded so authorities had to temporarily stop at Dong Hoi station and Dong Ha station (Quang Tri).
At 7:00 p.m. on October 27, 321 passengers of train SE7 were loaded onto 7 buses and taken to Dong Ha station.
In the opposite direction, many other buses from Dong Ha station also carry passengers on trains SE2, SE4, SE6 to Dong Hoi station. These buses are all free for passengers. After that, these passengers are taken to trains at the 2 stations to continue their journey.
People continue to flee floods at night
On the morning of October 28, under the influence of storm Tra Mi, heavy rain continued in Quang Binh.
Heavy rain forced many people in Le Thuy district to flee the flood on the night of October 27.

In many areas such as Kien Giang town, Lien Thuy, Tan Thuy, Phong Thuy, An Thuy, Loc Thuy communes, flood water rose rapidly and flooded many houses.
Local people said that in about 1 hour, the water level rose more than 20cm, people had to run away from the flood at night, raising their belongings to cope.


In Duong Thuy commune (Le Thuy district), the floodwaters deeply flooded two villages, Binh Minh and Trung Thien. The commune police approached and helped many people isolated by the flood to get to safety.


Cam Thuy Commune Police have deployed forces to block deeply flooded roads in the area to warn of flooding and direct traffic.
