On August 1, Mr. Nguyen Huu Ha - Chairman of Lam Thanh Commune People's Committee said that the locality is mobilizing hundreds of officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, youth union members, members of unions and people to participate in transporting materials to Nhon Mountain to recreate the words "UNCLE HO LIVES FOREVER".
Nhon Mountain is about 150 m high, belonging to the Lam Thanh mountain range. On the mountainside, there is a large line "UNCLE HO LIVES FOREVER", formed at the end of 1969.
After President Ho Chi Minh passed away, implementing the policy of the Hung Nguyen District Youth Union at that time, hundreds of union members and youth from 12 communes used hoes and shovels to dig soil and spread white lime to create the inscription on the mountainside.
After more than half a century, due to the impact of weather, the inscription has been faded and degraded many times and has been restored by the local authorities.

In May 2026, to celebrate the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Military Command of Lam Thanh commune coordinated with the militia forces to restore the white lime inscription. However, due to the steep mountainside, which is often affected by heavy rain, the lime layer quickly peels off.
To preserve the project for the long term, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Lam Thanh commune directed the Military Command of the commune to coordinate with units to implement a plan to recreate the text line with concrete.
The commune military force directly cast more than 1,500 concrete slabs, each slab about 80 cm long, 20 cm wide and weighing more than 20 kg to assemble into letters.
Due to the high terrain of Nhon Mountain, steep slopes, and difficult roads, all materials had to be transported by manpower. The forces were divided into many groups, forming a transportation line from the foot of the mountain to the mountainside, then passing each concrete slab to the installation location.

Despite the hot weather mixed with rain that made the mountain road slippery, hundreds of people still participated in carrying materials up the mountain to ensure the progress of the project.
According to Lam Thanh Commune People's Committee, after completion, the words "UNCLE HO LIVES FOREVER" will be preserved with solid materials, contributing to preserving a red address with historical value and traditional education for generations.
This is also a project towards the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026).
