As planned, on the morning of February 13, Yen Bai province will hold a military enlistment ceremony in 9/9 districts, towns and cities to send off 1,369 citizens to join the army and fulfill their sacred duty to the Fatherland.
In 2025, Yen Bai province was assigned the target of recruiting 1,369 citizens, including 1,100 citizens participating in military service and 269 citizens participating in public security service.
The new recruits will be handed over to the receiving units including: General Staff of Military Region 2, Division 304, Division 316, Division 355, Brigade 297 of Military Region 2; General Staff, Border Guard Command, Office of the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security, Guard Command, Mobile Police Command, Department of Police Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities - Reformatory School of the Ministry of Public Security.
In terms of education level, 98.4% of citizens have secondary and high school degrees, of which 1.6% have technical qualifications from intermediate to university. Notably, 243 young people have volunteered to join the army and 211 new recruits are party members.
Before the departure date, localities have organized many practical activities to encourage new recruits. The program "Military Day" will take place tomorrow afternoon (February 12) with many meaningful activities such as: visiting the Martyrs' Cemetery, planting souvenir trees, organizing campfires, cultural and artistic exchanges...
