Yen Bai assigns more than 2,000 civil servant positions in 2025

Khánh Linh |

In 2025, Yen Bai province assigned more than 2,000 civil servant positions and nearly 20,000 personnel to work in public service units.

On January 15, according to Lao Dong's source, the People's Committee of Yen Bai province has just issued a decision on assigning administrative civil servant payrolls; payrolls for special-purpose Associations and the number of people working in public service units, and labor contracts to perform support and service work according to Decree No. 111 of the Government in agencies and units of the State sector of Yen Bai province in 2025.

According to the Decision, the total number of administrative civil servants assigned is 2,139. The number of employees of special associations is 94. The number of employees working in public service units includes 19,320 people receiving salaries from the state budget and 621 people receiving salaries from career revenue sources.

Notably, the Provincial People's Committee also stipulates the contract salary for laborers performing support and service work according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP.

The minimum contract rate is 1.5 times the regional minimum monthly wage, except for drivers, which is increased by 5%. Agencies and units are authorized to apply specific contract rates depending on the volume of work.

This assignment of staffing and quotas is expected to improve the efficiency of human resource use, reduce budget pressure and motivate cadres, civil servants and public employees in the province.

Departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are required to seriously implement the allocation of staff, ensuring effective use of human resources in accordance with regulations. At the same time, the Department of Home Affairs coordinates with the Department of Finance and the Provincial State Treasury to inspect and supervise the use of staff and funds.

This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2025.
