On the afternoon of November 11, at Da Nang International Airport, the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) chaired a reception of emergency aid provided by the AHA Center to support Da Nang people.
The first transport flight landed at 12 noon, carrying a portion of the total aid goods. According to the plan, there will be a total of 3 flights. The remaining two trips are expected to arrive in Da Nang on the evening of November 11 and the morning of November 12, ensuring that all relief goods are quickly gathered.
The total amount of goods in this support period includes: 3,648 household appliances, 1,999 kitchen appliances and 3,000 personal hygiene appliances. The total value of the goods is estimated at more than 264,000 USD. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City is the unit that directly receives and will promptly distribute these goods to households in the localities that suffer the most damage.

Previously, the flood that lasted from late October to early November left 12 people dead, 4 missing, and 47 injured. The total estimated material damage is more than 837 billion VND. Many areas were deeply flooded and severely eroded, and major traffic routes were cut off and paralyzed.
As of November 10, embassies and international organizations have provided and committed about 10.5 million USD in aid to localities affected by recent consecutive storms and floods.
Many countries and international organizations such as the Japanese Government, Australia, the Russian Federation, UNICEF, IOM, save the Children... have been implementing emergency support activities, from cash, recovery of livelihoods, supply of clean water, home repair to school equipment for people in many provinces and cities from the North to the Central region.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
Consecutive storms and floods have caused many deaths, missing and injuries; many houses and production and business establishments have had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern mountainous provinces and the central provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
