    Hanoi - Cat Linh - Ha Dong electric train experienced a phenomenon of water flowing to regulate the air on the passenger car.

    On the morning of May 20, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Hanoi Railway Company Limited (Hanoi Metro) said that the unit had directed the Cat Linh - Ha Dong Line 2A Operation Enterprise ( lighting Enterprise 2A) to invite experts to coordinate with technical staff to urgently and thoroughly fix the leaked air conditioning water on passenger cars.

    It is expected to be completed on May 20, 2025.

    As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 5:20 p.m. on May 19, on route 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong, a phenomenon of water flowing to regulate the air in a passenger car on train No. 01.

    Immediately after receiving the information, the operating unit arranged forces to exchange for passengers to share and sympathize; at the same time, urgently fix the scene. The ship convoy then returned to Phu Luong Depot for inspection and handling.

    According to the initial inspection report of Enterprise 2A, the cause of the phenomenon of water flowing in the passenger compartment is due to an error in the air conditioning control system of train 01, causing unstable drainage, causing water to flow down under a passenger carriage.

    To prevent and avoid similar situations, Hanoi Metro has directed Enterprise 2A to continue inviting experts and technical staff to review and re-inspect technical systems, especially the entire air conditioning control system of trains on route 2A.

    According to Hanoi Metro, because trains and technical equipment systems on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route have been produced and brought to Vietnam since 2017, this unit is preparing a report proposing to the City People's Committee to allow the establishment of a maintenance project associated with training of technical human resources for trains, equipment systems to operate on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway line to ensure stable and long-term technical safety and environmental protection conditions for trains...

    The phenomenon of water flowing from air conditioning causing inconvenience and unsanitary conditions for passengers on a train car is a rare and unwanted incident, Hanoi Metro has blamed the passengers.

    This unit said it will fix the problem as soon as possible and hopes that passengers will sympathize, share and continue to accompany and support Hanoi Metro.
