On the morning of January 9, Hau Giang Provincial Police held a conference to review the 2025 military recruitment work, in person and online, to the police of districts, towns and cities in the province.
Reporting at the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Duong Hoang An - Head of the Personnel Organization Department - said that in 2025, the Ministry of Public Security approved the allocation of 329 targets for selecting citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security (abbreviated as military recruitment) in Hau Giang province.
Thanks to the initiative and good propaganda work, 545 citizens have registered to join the People's Public Security force in 2025, reaching 165.7% of the target assigned by the Ministry.
For the recruitment source of the Provincial Police this year, 100% of citizens graduated from high school. Of which, 48 citizens graduated from university, of which 1 citizen graduated with honors; 7 citizens graduated with honors.
The locality with the highest number of eligible citizens registering for recruitment is Phung Hiep District Police with 75/48 targets. Up to now, the Provincial Police have basically completed all aspects of the 2025 military recruitment work according to the plan, progress and requirements.
With the motto "Entrust enough soldiers, quality, and ensure that each person is assigned to a certain position", Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trang - Deputy Director of Hau Giang Provincial Police - requested that the police of units and localities need to do a good job in implementing policies for selected citizens, promptly visit, encourage and motivate the spirit of citizens and their families before joining the army.
In addition, complete all recruitment documents in accordance with regulations; coordinate with the Military Service Council at the same level to organize military recruitment camps and organize military handover to ensure time, quality and efficiency.
