On March 18, the Quang Tri Provincial Election Commission issued a resolution announcing the election results and the list of people elected as delegates of the 9th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
According to the Quang Tri Provincial Election Commission, the whole province has more than 1.163 million voters participating in the election in 1,512 polling stations. The voter turnout rate reached 99.88%. In which, 52/78 communes, wards, and special zones reached a voter turnout rate of 100%.
The whole province has 20 electoral units for provincial-level People's Council deputies. As a result, out of a total of 104 candidates, 62 people were elected as deputies of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Council of the IX term, 2026-2031. The elected delegate with the highest number of votes reached more than 98%.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Election Commission said that the election results were summarized and confirmed to ensure the correct number, structure, and composition according to regulations. The whole province has elected enough 10 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, 62 People's Council deputies of the province.
The Quang Tri Provincial Election Commission has completed the submission of the election results of National Assembly deputies to the National Election Council on time. The election in the area is assessed to have taken place democratically, safely, and in accordance with legal regulations.
