As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of May 5, in Phuc Tan Commune (Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen), an explosion occurred at Mr. Vi Van Mung's house, causing 4 casualties.
Immediately afterwards, the authorities and related units were present to conduct an examination of the scene and the body.
Initial investigation, the authorities assessed that the cause of the explosion could be due to firecracker manufacturing activities.
At the scene, Mr. Mung's house was severely damaged, many items were destroyed, and debris was scattered everywhere.
The incident caused Mr. Vi Van Tu (born in 1994, Mr. Mung's son) to die on the spot. Three others were injured, including Mr. Vi Van Mung, Mr. Vi Van Binh and Mr. Luu Van Tu.
Thai Nguyen Provincial Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the case to handle it in accordance with legal regulations.
