On May 17, at the Type 1 Driving Test Center - Viet Bac Training Branch (under the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries College, Thai Nguyen City), the opening ceremony of the driving test and license exam officially took place.
This is the first test directly organized by Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, marking an important step in tightening management, improving the quality of driver training and testing.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, from early morning, hundreds of candidates were present to complete the procedures, listen to the popularity of the new exam regulations and regulations.
The areas for testing records, measuring alcohol concentration, theoretical testing and practical testing are arranged separately.
Notably, in this exam, all candidates were tested for alcohol concentration before taking the exam.
The Traffic Police force coordinated with the center staff to conduct measurements using specialized equipment, arranged right at the entrance to the exam area.
Ms. Dao Thi Huyen Giang (Thai Nguyen City) arrived at the center early to complete the exam procedures. This is the first time she has taken the exam after completing the course.
"In the theory competition area, the instructions are clearly implemented, each candidate is named according to the list and divided into each exam room. The equipment and software are arranged in advance, easy to operate, making it convenient to do the test," Ms. Giang shared.

According to many other students here, organizing exams in this way helps candidates grasp the process, reducing confusion when entering the exam. With the current approach, the following exams will be more favorable for both candidates and organizers.
According to the plan, the exam will last for two days, May 17 and 18, with 238 candidates taking the car competition for classes B, B1 and C; and 20 candidates retaking the exam due to expired licenses.
To make the exam transparent, the Traffic Police Department has comprehensively inspected the center's facilities: from the automatic scoring system, theoretical software to testing vehicles. The team of supervisors and officers who look after the exam were also thoroughly trained.
Mr. Pham The Ha - Deputy Head of Viet Bac Training Branch, Head of the testing training center said that the unit currently has about 28 testing vehicles, 10 standing staff coordinating with the authorities to ensure the exam goes smoothly.
Organizing this survey contributes to resolving backlogs, while marking a transition to a new management model, towards transparency and efficiency.
