On November 20, according to Lao Dong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province Quach Tat Liem has just signed to confirm the issuance of environmental license No. 56/GPMT-UBND for the project "Construction of a facility for testing, calibrating physical measurement equipment and classifying, storing and preserving radioactive samples, Federation of Geological Physics" of the Federation of Geological Physics in Hung Son commune, Kim Boi district.
The license is valid for 10 years from the date of signing.
Accordingly, the type of production, business and service of the project is to inspect and calibrate physical measuring equipment (Gamma spectrum analyzer) and classify, store and preserve 690 used radioactive samples.
The project has a total area of over 47,000m2 with a total investment of 45 billion VND.
According to this license, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province allows the project to discharge wastewater into the environment and comply with environmental protection requirements; comply with environmental protection requirements for regulated emissions and requirements for waste management, prevention and response to environmental incidents.
In addition, Hoa Binh province also requires the Federation of Geological Physics to be responsible for complying with regulations on environmental protection.
At the same time, be responsible before the law when discharging pollutants that do not meet the permitted requirements and must immediately stop discharging wastewater to take remedial measures according to the provisions of law.
