Accordingly, solemn activities to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) will take place on April 26 in Hoa Binh City.
The program aims to review the heroic tradition of the nation, while honoring the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of ancestors.
The opening of the series of activities was a meeting with relatives of martyrs, officers, soldiers and those who participated in the outstanding Spring Campaign of 1975 . The event aims to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and people who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, while arousing pride and patriotism among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
Also on the day, the groundbreaking ceremony to build a temple of Hoa Binh martyrs will be held in Quynh Lam Ward, Hoa Binh City. The project has a profound meaning, showing the tradition of "drinking water to remember the source" of the nation, which is a place to mark the merits of the elite children who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
The highlight of the program is the art night "Land of joy" taking place at Hoa Binh Square. With special performances and high-altitude fireworks displays, the program not only recreates the heroic atmosphere of the national reunification day but also arouses trust and pride in the hearts of each citizen.
The commemorative activities are not only an opportunity to review the glorious past but also contribute to cheering on the patriotic emulation movement, welcoming Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress.
