On April 15, the People's Committee of Di Linh commune (Lam Dong) said that a fire had just occurred in the area, causing a grocery store and many properties to be burned down. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.

Initial information, at about 8 pm on April 14, people discovered a fire breaking out at Hung Lien grocery store, in Di Linh Thuong 1 village (Di Linh commune), owned by Mr. Duong Phi Hung.
People shouted and helped those inside escape, and at the same time reported to functional agencies.

Upon receiving the news, Di Linh Commune People's Committee mobilized forces from the Commune Military Command and Commune Police to coordinate with the Fire and Rescue Police Team to quickly arrive at the scene to put out the fire.
When functional forces arrived, the fire had engulfed the entire store. The forces deployed water spraying, controlled the fire, prevented it from spreading to neighboring areas; and moved property out of the dangerous area.
About an hour later, the fire was controlled and extinguished, preventing it from spreading to neighboring houses. Some property was moved in time.
However, the fire caused the wooden house of more than 70m2 to be completely burned down; many assets and belongings were burned, with estimated damage of more than 100 million VND.

On the morning of April 15, Di Linh Commune People's Committee continued to mobilize military and police forces to support the family in overcoming the consequences of the fire.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
