Hoan Kiem spends more than 180 billion VND to renovate Ly Thai To flower garden

Hanoi - Hoan Kiem District plans to spend more than 180 billion VND to implement the Ly Thai To flower garden renovation investment project.

Hoan Kiem District is preparing to implement an investment project to renovate Ly Thai To flower garden. The total preliminary investment of the project is more than 182 billion VND from the Hoan Kiem District budget.

Hoan Kiem District also plans to place the Km0 milestone right in front of the King Ly Thai To monument.

Previously, in 2020, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to repair, renovate and restore degraded locations around Ly Thai To flower garden using the district budget, ensuring no impact on the structure and aesthetics of the surrounding area, promoting the value of space, complying with legal regulations and the City, ensuring efficiency, avoiding waste.

Regarding the selection of the Km0 milestone, the City People's Committee directs the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee to carefully study and ask for opinions from experts in various fields so that the Associations can have a consensus, propose some locations for Km0 suitable for the cultural, tourism, traditional and long-standing history of the people of the Capital to advise the City People's Committee to continue reviewing and directing.

At the same time, Hanoi held a ceremony to announce the results of the Km0 Landmark Construction Design Contest (under the Hoan Kiem Lake renovation and embellishment Investment Project) which was held.

The first prize of the contest was awarded by the Organizing Committee to the collective of authors: Pham Trung Hieu, Pham Thai Binh, Vu Binh Minh, Pham Huy Dong, Nguyen Dang Hai with the Km0 milestone design located in the yard in front of the Monument of King Ly Thai To.
