According to Lao Dong's report on January 8, after more than 3 months of construction, all items in the project to repair damaged roads from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) have been completed, ensuring convenient travel for people during the Lunar New Year.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam (38 years old, Van Hoi, Tran Yen district) said that in the past, the road was a nightmare for many people because of its damaged and muddy condition.
"Fortunately, before the Lunar New Year, the road was repaired and completed. The road surface became flat and clean, creating favorable conditions for people to travel," said Mr. Nam.
According to research, the project to repair damaged roadbed, road surface, drainage system and traffic safety system from IC12 intersection to Van Hoi (Tran Yen district) is invested by the Road Maintenance Management Board of Yen Bai province with a total investment of 19.7 billion VND.
The project started construction in October 2024, with Nam Phong Construction and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company as the contractor.
Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the Road Maintenance Management Board of Yen Bai province said that completing the road before Tet will create favorable conditions for people to travel.
"At the same time, it ensures traffic safety, improves exploitation efficiency and contributes to promoting local socio-economic development," said the representative.
