Lam Dong - The authorities have completed the rescue work, lifting a 45-seat passenger car out of a deep ravine in Bao Loc Pass.

On the morning of March 31, information from the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the authorities had taken the 45-seat passenger bus in distress on Bao Loc Pass out of a ravine about 20m deep.

At the scene of the accident, after many efforts, at around 2:15 a.m. on March 31, the forces lifted the crashed car out of a ravine about 20m deep in a state of severe damage.

The authorities brought the passenger car to the headquarters of the Madaguoi Town Police (Da Huoai District) to continue examining the vehicle for investigation and clarifying the cause of the accident.

Previously, on the evening of March 30, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - was present at the scene to direct the rescue of passenger cars in distress on Bao Loc Pass.

At the scene, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Colonel Bui Duc Thinh - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police and leaders of Bao Loc city, Da Huoai district directed and encouraged rescue forces to overcome the consequences of the traffic accident.

Provincial and local leaders... were also present at Da M'ri Town Police to visit and encourage the lucky passengers who were not injured or had only suffered minor injuries and were being arranged to rest here.

The People's Committee of Da Huoai district has allocated a budget to support each passenger with 500,000 VND to travel to Binh Phuoc province at night. For those who are not yet healthy, the authorities have arranged accommodation for meals and overnight accommodation.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police, and leaders of localities also visited Lam Dong II Hospital to visit, present gifts to support, and encourage the families of the victims and the injured.

In order to share the losses and encourage the victims, the People's Committee of Bao Loc city has supported the family of Ms. T (born in 1999; in Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc province) who died in the accident with 10 million VND.

Support Mr. Th (24 years old; residing in Dong Xoai city, Binh Phuoc province) with spinal and pelvic injuries being treated at Lam Dong II Hospital with 5 million VND; support 2 children with broken arms with 2 million VND/person.
