On March 6, Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2 said that ship KN-260 had completed the working trip to organize early elections for voters on duty at sea, docking at Phuoc Thang ward. Previously, in Ho Chi Minh City, 3 ships including KN-260, Truong Sa 04, Truong Sa 21 departed on February 26 to carry out early elections at sea.
After 8 days of drifting at sea, the members of ship KN-260 overcame difficulties, completing the task of organizing early elections for voters on 13 ships on duty in the sea bordering Vietnam and Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia. The ballot boxes are guaranteed to remain sealed and are brought back for secrecy pending the vote counting day.
According to Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2, in the midst of big waves and strong winds, strong rough seas, but the members of the Election Team and the KN-260 ship team coordinated and made efforts to ensure the safe delivery of ballot boxes to the polling stations.

At the same time, the work of deploying voters to study biographies and action programs of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2026-2031 is fully implemented; voters fully participate according to the list posted, receive ballots and exercise their rights and obligations as citizens in accordance with regulations.
