Lao Dong's records in recent days show that the works within the Pham Tu - Road 70 traffic intersection project have been demolished and dismantled.
The project construction area has been fenced with corrugated iron around. Inside, the contractor has mobilized many machines, equipment, and workers to the construction site to construct the items of the project.

Mr. Tran Van Hung (Thanh Liet ward, Hanoi) said that the Pham Tu - Road 70 intersection project has been unfinished for many years, causing frequent congestion in this area, making it difficult for people to travel.
We, the people, are happy that the project has resumed construction. We hope the project will be completed soon to solve the bottleneck of congestion as well as change the urban appearance in the area" - Mr. Hung said.
The traffic intersection project between road No. 1 belonging to the project to invest in the construction of a traffic road surrounding the Chu Van An memorial area with road 70 (Phan Trong Tue street) - Chu Van An road project (Pham Tu road junction - road 70) has a total investment of 1,921.12 billion VND (land clearance is 767.56 billion VND).
Of which, the value of the Pham Tu road intersection with road 70 is 785.974 billion VND; the value of the BT contract is 1,551.301 billion VND.
The project started in 2014, has been put into operation since 2019, route 1 opened to traffic with road 70 from January 22, 2020.
The Pham Tu - 70 road intersection was approved in June 2017 but construction was temporarily suspended from 2018 due to problems in site clearance.

In Ha Dong ward, the total area to be cleared for project implementation is 21,101.7m2. In Thanh Liet ward, the total recovered land area is 30,898.1m2.
By May 2026, the wards have completed land acquisition, handed over the entire site and related documents to the investor for construction deployment.
According to records, before restarting, the project has only constructed some items such as bridge piers and a part of the access road on Pham Tu street.
According to Hanoi's direction, after having a clean site, the investor and contractor must urgently organize construction; immediately coordinate with relevant units to handle technical infrastructure systems, including 110kV and 220kV high-voltage power lines.
It is expected that the Pham Tu - Road 70 intersection project will be completed in 2026.
