On the morning of April 4, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters were present at the General Secretary Ha Huy Tap Memorial Area in Cam Hung commune to record dozens of workers focusing on general cleaning immediately after completing the project to repair and renovate this memorial area.
Workers divided into many groups to spray water, scrub, sweep dust, mud, and pieces of material scattered during construction.
“All items of the project to repair and renovate the General Secretary Ha Huy Tap Memorial Area have been completed by our company. Today, we are focusing on general cleaning to hand over the project tomorrow according to the investor's requirements,” Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - technical officer of Duc Loc Tai Co., Ltd. shared.
The project to repair and renovate the Ha Huy Tap General Secretary Memorial Area is invested by the Ha Tinh Provincial Civil and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board; Duc Loc Tai Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Bac Ninh province) is responsible for construction. The project started in November 2025.
At the tomb area of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap, the restoration and embellishment with items: Walking paths, fence system, gate columns, parking lots, electricity and water systems... have also been completed.
According to the plan, Ha Tinh province will organize a ceremony to celebrate the 120th birthday of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (April 24, 1906 - April 24, 2026) with many activities.
In which, the anniversary is expected to be solemnly held on the morning of April 17 at the Ha Tinh Provincial Culture - Cinema and Tourism Promotion Center (No. 21, Phan Dinh Phung Street, Thanh Sen Ward).
Before the anniversary ceremony, central leaders and provincial leaders will offer incense at the Tomb and Memorial Area of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap.
At the anniversary ceremony, there will be a ceremony to receive the national relic ranking certificate for the historical relic of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap's tomb; an exhibition and display of documents, artifacts, and memorabilia about General Secretary Ha Huy Tap.
In the series of commemorative activities, there will be a scientific conference with the theme "Comrade Ha Huy Tap - Talented General Secretary, excellent theorist of the Party and Vietnamese revolution", expected on the afternoon of April 16 in Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province.
At the workshop venue, documents, artifacts, and memorabilia about General Secretary Ha Huy Tap will be displayed and exhibited with the theme "General Secretary Ha Huy Tap - A steadfast and talented leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution".
