Accordingly, during the day, the Ministry of National Defense mobilized 160 officers and soldiers and 90 vehicles of all kinds, maintaining the operation of the Lo River pontoon bridge, ensuring safety for 4,608 people and vehicles passing through.
Regarding the natural disaster situation, the report said that from 1:15 am on June 22, in Hoa Phu hamlet, Cai Be commune, Dong Thap province, a landslide of 60m2 of the Tra River bank occurred, caused by high tide.
The locality mobilized 10 people to coordinate with local forces to help people overcome the consequences.
On the afternoon of June 22, heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, occurred in the wards of Phu My, Ham Thang, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong province, causing the roofs of 11 houses and 1 People's Committee headquarters of the ward to be blown off. The locality mobilized 73 people to coordinate with local forces to help people overcome the consequences.
At 6:00 PM on June 22nd, heavy rain and thunderstorms occurred in Phu Thuy and Phan Thiet wards, Lam Dong province. As a result, 3 people were injured, 3 fishing boats anchored at the wharf sank (BTh 98211 TS, BTh 84608 TS, BTh 89268 TS); 10 houses had their roofs blown off and damaged, and many green trees were broken. The Border Guard (BĐBP) of Lam Dong province dispatched 10 officers and soldiers (CBCS) to coordinate with local forces to help people salvage sunken vehicles and overcome the consequences.
Regarding the forest fire, the report said that the locality mobilized 920 people (Soldiers: 620, Militia: 300), 62 vehicles of all kinds (10 cars, 35 windmills, 17 chainsaws), coordinated with local forces to extinguish a fire of about 25ha of melaleuca forest, acacia, and vegetation in the protection forest area of Thien Nhan commune, Nghe An province at 3:30 am on June 23.
At 10:00 am on June 23, in Tong Thuong village, Bao Nhai commune, Lao Cai province, a fire occurred in about 1ha of pine forest, the cause of the fire was people burning fields causing the fire to spread. The locality mobilized 114 people (Army: 8; Militia: 50; other forces: 56), extinguishing the fire at 12:15 pm on the same day.
The report also said that at 10:30 PM on June 22, in Nam Nghe village, Hum Bua commune, Lai Chau province, a drowning incident occurred, killing 2 father and son. The cause was being swept away by a stream.
The locality mobilized 65 people for search and rescue. By 08:00 on June 23, the forces found the body of P.Q. L. Currently, the forces are organizing the search for the remaining victim.
At 5:30 PM on June 22, at Xuan Thanh beach, Tien Dien commune, Ha Tinh province, a drowning incident occurred, killing 1 person (N.T. P, born 1972). Through verification, the victim and her son (N.T. T, born 2013) were swimming in the sea in the above area; currently the family is taking the body home for burial, the cause is being verified, baby T has not been found. Ha Tinh Provincial Border Guard Command dispatched 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces to organize searches, but no results have been found.
