The project to renovate and repair the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee to ensure basic and material conditions after the merger of Phu Tho province, Vinh Phuc province and Hoa Binh province was approved by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province under Decision No. 1447/QD-UBND dated June 23, 2025.
This is a Group C project with a total investment of nearly 14.5 billion VND, invested by the Provincial People's Committee Office. Currently, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province is located on Tran Phu street, Viet Tri ward, Phu Tho province (formerly the headquarters of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province).
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at the National Bidding Network System, on July 16, the Office of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee announced the invitation for bidding for Package No. 04: Construction and installation of equipment for the project.
The above construction package was widely bid online, priced at nearly 13 billion VND from the state budget and other legally mobilized capital sources.
According to the project documents, the scope of work of the package includes: Renovation of furniture ( industrial wooden floors, industrial wooden walls, placing high-rise ceilings, building partitions to make closed toilets...) of the offices of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Office.
Re-paint the offices for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Provincial People's Committee Office after the merger.
Renovate the synchronous power supply and water supply items for rooms; install equipment to meet working requirements; add elevators to buildings (use existing elevator equipment).
The package will also renovate, repair and upgrade the Historical archives Center into a public housing: Renovate the interior into closed rooms, living rooms, common living rooms and other functional rooms; renovate the electrical system, water system, purchase equipment to meet the needs of use.
In addition, additional lighting systems are arranged at some garden locations to synchronize with existing lighting systems and some other necessary items.
The package implementation period is 90 days.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, previously, on October 30, 2024, the Office of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee also found a contractor to construct the renovation and repair of the headquarters of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
That is Package No. 6: Construction of works of the project to renovate and repair sides of the main office block and some construction items under the headquarters of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
The total investment of the above project is nearly 29.5 billion VND. In which, the estimated price of Package No. 6 is VND 20,238,865,000, the winning bidder is the consortium of Dat Viet Construction Joint Stock Company and Song Thao Construction Investment Joint Stock Company with a price of VND 20,201,473,000.
However, unlike the recently announced project, this project is constructing items such as renovating the office block and lighting system, main gate, garden; renovating and upgrading the dining room, with a construction period of 360 days.
